About the Role

A large Lloyd’s Broker with an outstanding reputation in the Cargo market is seeking an Account Handler/Senior Account Handler (depending on experience) to join its growing division. This is a highly successful team that is well respected within the Cargo space.

Our client can guarantee fantastic career opportunities working with highly knowledgeable Cargo professionals who will upskill the successful applicant and give them the platform to develop and enhance their current skill set.

Our client handles global Cargo business including U.S. and ROW and you will be heavily involved in working on some large accounts gaining further exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with Brokers/Clients to create market documentation MRC, Endorsements using Brokasure, Impact, Crystal

  • Working with Processing and IBA teams

  • Overseeing the accuracy of documentation

  • Providing day-to-day support to Brokers assisting with broking processes to Insurers/Reinsurers

  • Identify renewals, checking for any changes

  • Assist with developing new business

  • Liaising with clients and external parties

  • Adherence to compliance policies and procedures

Key Skills & Experience

The client is seeking someone who has experience of Cargo business, some knowledge of Cargo MRC slips/contracts would be advantageous, an ability to liaise with clients and Underwriters and work closely with Brokers.

You should be highly personable and professional and enjoy a varied workload with aspirations to develop within the role.
