About the Role
We are recruiting for a first-class Lloyd’s Broker who is seeking an Assistant Reinsurance Technical Operations Manager.
You will be responsible for a team of 10 that focuses on both reinsurance and binders’ business, developing and delivering the operational objectives of the team, and offering oversight, guidance and mentoring capability.

Key Responsibilities
Support and deputise the Operations Director as and when required
Assess incoming processing requests for completeness and assign them to team members as appropriate
Ensure contract load and premium processing requests are completed accurately on Open TWINS within the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) agreed with the business
Manage resources effectively to ensure the team meets Key Performance Indicators and Service Standards
Adhere to company and regulatory policies and procedures together with mandatory training requirements
Ability to continue to improve the technical processes and ability to form relationships with all areas of the business
Key Skills & Experience
Line management experience is essential for this role as well as demonstrating exceptional leadership. Having knowledge of reinsurance and/or binders would be an advantage but not essential.
You should be a great communicator and able to manage teams effectively and form relationships.
